All about newborn and baby portrait photography
Newborn portraits can be taken any time during the first two months after the baby is born. For sleepy, curled up newborn portraits it’s best to photograph the baby the first 14 days or so. After the first two weeks there is still time to do portraits but they more likely to be more interactive and awake images. Newborn portraits focus on the baby’s surroundings and immediate family members.
My approach is clean and modern portraits with minimal props that really focus on the baby. Newborn portraits are generally taken at home.
Other milestones are also celebrated with babies such as sitting up, eating their first solid food, taking their first steps, first hair cut and of course the first birthday.
Baby portraits can be taken in the park or beach or at the home depending on the weather.
